Job Title: Product Line Manager – Powersports Gaskets

Reports to: Powersports Sales Manager

Cometic Gasket, Inc., is a leading worldwide supplier of gaskets and engine sealing solutions for the Automotive Performance, Powersports, Original Equipment, and Remanufactured Engine Industries.  We are looking for an energetic team member to join our team as a Powersports Product Line Manager.  The Powersports Product Line Manager will join an organization that takes pride in high quality, innovation, and quick response.   

Job Summary:

The Powersprots Product Line Manager supports the Powersports Sales Manager in the strategic oversight and execution of Cometic’s powersports gasket product line. This role collaborates across departments to ensure the product line meets customer needs, aligns with company objectives, and maintains a competitive edge in the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Powersports Sales Manager in developing and executing the product line strategy, including pricing, customer targeting, and market positioning.
• Collaborate with R&D on new product development, sourcing validation, and successful product launches.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Monitor product line performance and provide regular updates to the Powersports Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with marketing to support promotional efforts, including newsletters and annual catalog updates.
• Partner with the data team to maintain accurate product datasets in the Electronic Product Catalog.
• Maintain the relationship between Cometic and MXSports by representing Cometic at GNCC events, Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motorcorss Championship, and Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross.

Job Requirements:

• Strong powersports application knowledge is a must.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (includes national and international tradeshows and events).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
