FB20D & FB20V Engine
The FB20D engine, found in the fifth-generation Impreza sedan and hatchback, features direct injection for enhanced power and efficiency, with a compression ratio of 12.5:1 and outputs of 152 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque.
Meanwhile, the FB20V engine in the 2019+ Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid (PHEV) integrates a Toyota-sourced plug-in hybrid system, producing a combined 148 hp from its slightly detuned gasoline engine (137 hp) and electric motor (118 hp).
